Water and Waste Services “Blue Wave Tours”
From June 2 – 11, the Local attended a number of workplace meetings in the Water and Waste Department to discuss the City's initiative for a new "water utility and strategic partner" for water and sewer services. Until the City is clear on what the finished model will look like, the Local is not taking a formal position at this time. Watch for further Local 500 bulletin updates or regarding the water utility issue and our Positively Public Campaign.
