City of Winnipeg/CUPE Local 500 Negotiations - Results of Vote on Tentative Settlement Available Friday Evening

After the polls close and ballots are counted, CUPE Local 500 President Mike Davidson will announce the results of the vote on the CUPE Local 500/City of Winnipeg tentative agreement.

The media is invited to join Mike Davidson as follows:

The Union’s negotiating committee has recommended that the members accept the tentative agreement.

The City and the Union began negotiations on November 29, 2010. The contract expired December 31, 2010.

CUPE Local 500 represents close to 5,000 inside and outside workers with the City of Winnipeg.
