International Day of Mourning

April 16, 2012 at 1:15 AM

Across Canada, April 28 has been designated the Day of Mourning, a time when workers, families, employers, and others come together to remember those who have lost their lives to work-related incidents or occupational diseases. Because April 28 falls on a weekend this year, many of the annual ceremonies will be held on Friday April 27. All Local 500 members are encouraged to attend. Please remember to consult with your supervisor if you wish to attend one of the ceremonies.
