October is Canadian Library Month, a time to reflect on the important role libraries play in the lives of all Canadians.

More than just a place to find books, libraries promote cultural awareness, engage in the community, provide educational programs, and so much more!

Join us in celebrating the critical public services provided by library workers in our community. At the same time, we need to fight precarious work, oppose staffing cuts, and provide better health and safety measures.

For Canadian Library Month, CUPE has launched an important awareness campaign, and asks for your support. Join CUPE’s campaign and demand that employers and governments take action to adequately fund and protect both library services and the workers that provide them.

Sign the pledge: I support my library. I support my library workers.
