Local 500 was set to exchange proposals with the employer on March 17th. The employer has asked for an extension to submit their proposal package to the Union. That will now take place on March 26th.

The proposal package from the Union will be available for members to view, by appointment, after the March 26th proposal exchange.

Please avoid listening to rumours. Don’t believe anything you hear unless it comes from the Union. If you have questions, contact the Local 500 office directly to get the facts. 

As per recent legislation, discussions continue with the employer around the Essential Services Agreement (ESA).
