City of Winnipeg 2022 Budget process set to get underway

On Friday, November 26, the Executive Policy Committee (EPC) of Winnipeg City Council will table its 2022 operating and capital budgets.  
 
The operating budget is responsible for many of the programs and public services that Local 500 members provide to the citizens of Winnipeg. Following the EPC meeting, the Local will review the budget to identify any and all service impacts and staffing reductions. As always, we will raise these issues at the public meetings of the various standing policy committees. 
 
The standing policy committee meetings are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, November 30, 2021 - 5 p.m.
Standing Policy Committee on Property Development Heritage Downtown Development (Special Meeting)
 
Saturday, December 4, 2021 – 9:30 a.m.
Standing Policy Committee on Infrastructure Renewal and Public Works (Special Meeting)
 
Monday, December 6, 2021 – 2:30 p.m.
Water and Waste, Riverbank Management and the Environment (Special Meeting)
 
Tuesday, December 7, 2021 - 2:30 p.m.
Protection, Community Services and Parks (Special Meeting)
 
Friday, December 10, 2021 - 9:30 a.m.
