Convention Centre members approve new agreement

MEMBERS APPROVE NEW AGREEMENT
On December 3, 2009, CUPE members approved the tentative agreement between CUPE Local 500 and the Winnipeg Convention Centre.
Highlights of the Agreement
Term:
Three (3) years
Wages:
- 2.5 % in each year of the agreement
- Salary adjustments for lowest paid classification (ranging from 6% – 10%)
Benefits:
Payment for cost of medical certificate - up to $50/year
