On September 9, Local 500 President Mike Davidson along with CUPE National Staff and Local 500 Staff, met with representatives from Emterra Environmental to discuss a number of labour relations concerns including health and safety issues, distribution of overtime and respect for seniority and contracting out/protecting jobs.
The Local will continue to follow-up with Emterra to keep these important issues in the forefront.
