CUPE Local 500 supports Hunger for Hope – Please help Luke Fritz win $50,000

CUPE Local 500 has named Winnipeg Blue Bomber, Luke Fritz, as CUPE’s hardest working player of the off-season for his efforts to win $50,000 for his charity of choice, Hunger for Hope. This Friday morning (November 19) on CJOB, CUPE Local 500 will be pledging its support by donating $500 to Winnipeg Harvest in his honour.
Over 20,000 babies and infants rely on Winnipeg Harvest each month for baby formula and milk.
“This is our opportunity to give to our community in a special way and help alleviate some of that hunger,” said Mike Davidson, President of CUPE Local 500.

Winnipeg Blue Bomber Luke Fritz is competing against another CFL team member to win $50,000 for Hunger for Hope. We need to every CUPE member and their families to vote and help Luke win!
