Local 500 Members at Winnipeg Humane Society Ratify New Agreement!

Local 500 members working at the Winnipeg Humane Society have voted 98% in favour of a new collective agreement
Some of the highlights include wage increases in each year of the contract, benefit and uniform improvements and long service recognition. The proposed agreement also includes a new Letter of Understanding on Compressed Work Week and Working from Home.
"We are pleased with the ratification of this agreement by our members at the Winnipeg Humane Society," said Local 500 President, Gord Delbridge. "I would like to thank the bargaining committee for all their hard work in negotiating this agreement."
The negotiating committee would like to thank all members for their solidarity and support throughout bargaining as well as their participation during the voting process.
