CUPE LOCAL 500/CITY OF WINNIPEG BARGAINING UPDATE #16 - TENTATIVE SETTLEMENT REACHED

June 13, 2017 at 7:20 PM

Negotiations between Local 500 and the City of Winnipeg continued on Tuesday, June 13. As a result of our discussions today, both parties have reached a tentative settlement.

At this time, the Local’s Negotiating Committee will not be releasing any details of the settlement until our members have had an opportunity to review the offer and vote on it.

The Union's Negotiating Committee is recommending that the members ACCEPT the settlement.

MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS AND VOTING

All CUPE Local 500 members working at the City of Winnipeg are eligible to attend the information meetings and vote on the tentative settlement.  During the meetings, the Union's Negotiating Committee will explain the City's tentative settlement offer and answer your questions.

Details of the date, time and location of the membership meetings and membership vote will be mailed to each member directly as soon as details are finalized.
