The Local 500 office has received confirmation from the City on the targeted dates for implementation of the new pay rates and retroactive pay on the agreement that CUPE members voted to accept on June 2, 2015.

1. Updated Rates of Pay: The new rates of pay are scheduled to be reflected on Friday, July 24.
2. Retroactive Pay: Retroactive payments are estimated to be made on Friday, August 7 or Friday, August 21.

When will the new collective agreement be available?

Once the negotiated language changes and wage rates are incorporated into the new agreement document, as per Clause 17 of the Local 500 By-laws, distribution of the collective agreement will be as follows:

1. Members will have viewing access to the Local 500 Collective Agreement on the Local's webpage, with the exception of the wage scales.
2. Members can request that the Collective Agreement be sent to them electronically in PDF format via email.
3. Members can come to the Local 500 office and pick up a hard copy of the Collective Agreement.
4. Members can call the Local 500 office and request the Local mail out a hard copy of the agreement.

Where can I get a copy of the Offer of Settlement?

Copies of the offer of settlement are available from the Local 500 office or on the Local 500 website.
