CUPE Local 500/City of Winnipeg Tentative Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Settlement Highlights

As you are aware, on June 13, CUPE Local 500 and the City of Winnipeg reached a tentative agreement. Your bargaining committee is unanimous in our recommendation to accept the settlement offer.
Here is a copy of the Settlement Highlights and Memorandum of Agreement and Addendum.
As a reminder, information meetings are on Wednesday, June 28 at 9:00 am, 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm at the RBC Convention Centre. The ratification vote will take place on Thursday, June 29 from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm at the RBC Convention Centre.
Please make every effort to attend the meetings and most importantly, vote on the tentative agreement. Should you have any questions, your bargaining committee will be on hand to answer those questions at the information sessions and at the vote.
Once the ratification vote is complete, the results will be compiled and they will be released. Please continue to check the bulletin board for more updates. You can also check the Local 500 website at cupe500.mb.ca or sign-up for email updates.
