Feb 28 is Repetitive Strain Injury Awareness Day

February 28, 2022 at 12:30 PM

Internationally, February 28 is recognized as a day to raise awareness about repetitive strain injuries, and spread awareness about the importance of reporting symptoms and hazards in your workplace.

These injuries are a family of painful disorders affecting tendons, muscles, nerves and joints. They cause persistent or recurring pains most commonly in the neck, shoulders, forearms, hands, wrists, and elbows. RSIs are an all too common cause of CUPE member’s suffering.
