Fire Engine Pull Launches Civic Charitable Fund Campaign

On Friday, September 27, teams made up of various City of Winnipeg departments, agencies and service areas participated in the annual fire engine pull to see who could pull a 42,000 lb. fire truck in the fastest time.
The event was done in collaboration with the United Way of Winnipeg to launch the City of Winnipeg Employees’ and Retirees’ Charitable Fund (ERCF) 2013 fundraising campaign.
A total of sixteen teams participated in the event that took place along William Avenue between Main and King Street.
