Important Update: City of Winnipeg Vision Care Plan - Manitoba Blue Cross

We have been contacted by the City with respect to some information regarding the City of Winnipeg Vision Care Plan.
Please be advised that Manitoba Blue Cross will not process payments or reimbursement for the following vision service providers:
Eye Site Optical
Econo-Vision
The Eye Team
These service providers are NOT approved nor eligible service providers for Manitoba Blue Cross, and do not have Provider Agreements with Blue Cross.
The City of Winnipeg will be posting this information on the Citynet benefits page, and we will be requesting that Departmental Blue Cross Administrators communicate this to employees in their respective departments.
