Local 500/City of Winnipeg Negotiations – Watch for bargaining survey in the fall!

The collective agreement for Local 500 members working at the City of Winnipeg will expire on February 28, 2021. 

To prepare for bargaining:

  • An important part of our preparations is to get your opinions on the priorities and issues you would like to see addressed at the bargaining table. Your CUPE negotiating committee will do a bargaining survey electronically and will also distribute paper copies to members who request this.
  • The bargaining committee will compile the results of the surveys and prepare the proposal package.

Please watch for the bargaining survey in September! By making your voice heard, you will play a direct role in helping the negotiating committee move in the right direction.
