Picket Captain Training Notice

As you know, strike preparations have escalated in recent weeks. While your bargaining committee is hopeful that we will reach a fair and reasonable settlement, we feel it's important to be ready for any type of job action should the City fail to meet the priorities of our members.
At this time, your Strike Committee is ready to move forward with Picket Captain training. Picket captains take on leadership roles in answering questions, tracking picketing activity, and ensuring safety of the picket line.
If you signed up to be a picket captain, you should have received an email regarding upcoming training dates.
Your Strike Committee is still looking for more volunteers to take on the role of Picket Captain. If interested, please sign up here and we’ll be in touch with you about upcoming training.
