Take Back the Night Winnipeg 2013 will be held on Thursday September 19, at the North End Bell Tower - 470 Selkirk Avenue. Marching will begin at 7:00 pm.
Take Back the Night is an annual international event to protest the ongoing violence against women and children.
Domestic violence, sexual assaults, female homicides and missing and murdered women all reflect a culture which objectifies, disrespects and dishonours the value of women. Violence against women reflects cultural values that perpetuate violence against marginalized people, in all its forms.
Join us in solidarity as people from all genders march to end violence against women and reclaim the streets for all.
